Here is a great little way to roast your favorite vegetables to spruce up your side dishes! Mushrooms: Rinse your mushrooms in a little cornstarch bath before you cook them. This gets all the dirt off them. When they are washed off, pat them dry and toss them with some Olive oil, fresh garlic, oregano and chopped rosemary. Roast on a sheet pan in the oven on 425 until they shrink and get colored. Change it up with Carrots, Zucchini, and cool them all off when they are just done. There it is, 2011. Dust in the wind. We feel like Bon Jovi as in "We've seen a million faces, and we rocked them all!" 2011 was the year the economy came back.. A little. Bacon and Chocolate came to Ribslayer Fans. More people had weddings than ever and they were all so fun and memorable. Thank you to all our brides and grooms in 2011. Never has the season felt so much like it should. Visiting my mother for Thanksgiving and making the family a big batch of fresh Minestrone was so much fun. Taking a week off to recharge and visit old friends was great! I came home and made it for Theresa and she loved it too! The wheather outside is chilly and we just got done making bags of goodies for stocking stuffers or gift exchanges.
