We get all kinds of new people ask about how our catering service works. Its great because they come in not knowing what to expect. Burgers, Fried Chicken, Dumplings, Vegetarian and Gluten free foods. Then they look at our menu and there off into deep thought! We serve Oregon BBQ. Favorites of our customers. Nothing fried, nothing greasy and nothing boring and without flavor! Most of the time we cook what you order and don’t even use the menu! Isn’t that funny?
But keep on asking! We do it all. Not just BBQ, we are going to do a lot more than just BBQ! We are “Service experts” first. We serve large crowds, well. Thanks for coming in!

There it is, 2011. Dust in the wind. We feel like Bon Jovi as in “We’ve seen a million faces, and we rocked them all!” 2011 was the year the economy came back.. A little. Bacon and Chocolate came to Ribslayer Fans. More people had weddings than ever and they were all so fun and memorable. Thank you to all our brides and grooms in 2011. Your days will be remembered as wonderful videos in our minds!
We learned a lot from our mistakes and learned that being open and honest with our selves and our clients really helps to make catering events run smoothly and makes them memorable.
Some of our bigger clients became closer to us. OMI, Cascade Steel Rolling Mills, The Juilette House (Celebrate the children), McMinnville Chamber, Oregon Vineyard Supply, Fisher Farm and Lawn, Colvin Auto, Linfield, and even the McMinnville Kiwanis and our endless list of wineries that have partnered with us to throw some serious Wine Country Feasts!
Wine Country Farms B&B, Youngberg Hill B&B and the Mattey House all had spectacular weddings and events that outshined themselves!
Thank you so much for keeping us in your minds and hearts! We love what we do and will continue to inspire you all moving into 2012.

Taking a week off to recharge and visit old friends was great! I came home and made it for Theresa and she loved it too!
The wheather outside is chilly and we just got done making bags of goodies for stocking stuffers or gift exchanges. We have Cheddar Chipotle Crackers, Bacon Topped Chocolate Wafers, Dipped Almond or Peanut Brittle, Dipped Pretzels, Dipped Cherries and more! Ask about a party platter to pick up and bring to your next outing. Tell them you got it at Ribslayer! You will be loved! Happy Holidays Everyone!

I hope all is well with your plans for your special day coming up. Don’t worry, I’m here to make it perfect. That’s what I do. Take care of the food at your wedding. That’s why you hired me!

I have some great and helpful news for you.

There is a special meeting for you involving planning your wedding if you’re not hiring a wedding planner.

My friend Becky; owner of No Ordinary Affair is offering a class to my brides for help. Check it out!

“No Ordinary Affair” is offering a 4-hour workshop on June 18th for brides who have chosen not to have a Wedding Planner or Day-Of Coordinator. This workshop will be loaded with expert advice, tips, hands-on learning and lots of freebies (not to mention yummy hors d’oeuvres!). There will be no sales pitches, so brides don’t need to be worried that this is nothing more than a ploy to get their business. This is true help for those DIY brides … come on, I know you all have them … those brides who are inappropriately looking to you for help in planning or coordinating their wedding. This is your chance to steer them in the right direction! Class size is limited to 15. All information can be found at www.noordinaryaffair.com. A $200 class, for you, only $85. This is a real great class and the size of classes are limited, so call Becky and tell her I sent you!

We look forward to having a perfect wedding for you!
